Bald Jason's Musings

My doctor's appointment went well yesterday, despite some moments of panic, fear and doubt. The doctor was kind and open-minded, and understanding. He didn't charge us for 2 $75.00 shots that were given, and some of the more expensive procedures (which may happen down the line) are most likely going to be scheduled at UofM where my insurance should pay for them. Dr. Ashman feels that my problem is probably a disc that's out of place, and a muscular problem as well; he seemed hopeful that some progress could be made and encouraged me to do these home exercises for a month, which I've already started doing. Hopefully this works out. It's hard to keep the fear and the anxiety at bay, but I'm under doctor's orders to try, so I'm doing my best. It's a huge relief to be under a doctor's care who seems to understand what's happening to me; who cares about the consequences on my life, and who is giving me things to try rather than telling me there's no hope.
In the last few days I've completely caught up on Caprica, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters & Smallville. I'm 2 episodes behind on Spartacus. I'm WAY behind on Lost, as I can't watch the episodes that I have due to a computer problem, which will hopefully be sorted out soon.
Doctor Who returns 1 month from today; a Saturday. The first episode back is a 1 hour special titled 'The Eleventh Hour', which picks up right after 'The End of Time, Part II'. The first 6 titles have been confirmed as:
5x01 The Eleventh Hour
5x02 The Beast Below
5x03 Victory of the Daleks
5x04 Time of Angels [Part I]
5x05 Flesh & Stone [Part II]
5x06 Vampires of VeniceThe 2 parter features the return of The Weeping Angels and Professor River Song.
