My plans for Thursday night were fine. After I came home, and Mark left for the condo meeting, I watched "Spider-Man" the movie, and then Jeremy called me, and we talked about his trip to New York, and other random things. I let him go so I could call Mark & remind him that I needed the car. He came home as soon as he could, and then we went to Hollywood Video, so I could say 'goodbye' to Kyle, which went very well. We went to Meijer so I could get some groceries, and then we headed back home, where I watched "Spider-Man 2" and later "Another Gay Movie", which was really, mostly, gross. It's nice, I guess that they can now make gay comedies that are just as wretched as their straight counterparts, but there's a reason that I don't watch those movies. lol

Friday I was late for work. Mark's coughing was keeping me awake, and I was so exhausted that I gave in, and wore some earplugs to bed...which meant that I didn't hear my alarm clock, and I was late for work. Mark has gotten far less sleep than I have, but I've not been getting a lot of it lately either. :-0( I worked with DJ, Bryan, Bobby, Pat, & Heidi. It's possible other people were there, but it's kind of a blur right now.

I came home right after work, as I felt sort of out of it. I forgot to get change for Mark & Mollie's poker game. I was kind of cranky. I read a myspace message from this guy I met last Saturday named David; he asked me if I heard that my friend Bill Saunders had emergency surgery on Monday!?! I thanked him for informing me, then sent Bill a message. I don't usually talk with him that often, but I had sent him a message earlier in the week; when I didn't get a response I just assumed he was busy. Now I knew for sure that he had been very busy. I later heard that he was doing a lot better, which was good to hear.

I layed down for awhile, and though I didn't really sleep, I felt better later, took a shower, and decided I'd go get Mark's change, a pizza, and some stuff I'd left at work. Mollie & Carrie arrived around this time, and I chatted with Carrie before I left. Most of the other players (Wendy, Erica, Phil, Jennifer, Zach, Paul, &...Rob?) arrived just as I was leaving.

When I got back I watched the first half of Tuesday's Nip/Tuck episode while I ate. Then I went downstairs to mingle with the players. It was fun, chatting with Carrie, and watching the game. Later Carrie left us as she was very tired. Later still a few of us went to get some snacks (Jennifer, Phil, Paul & I); Phil was acting all kinds of weird...I think something was wrong with him, which was all but confirmed when he & Jennifer left later, without saying goodbye, or taking Zach with them, when they had brought him to the party!?! Weird. I hope they're ok. We later played Euchre; two tables of Euchre players: Mollie with Wendy (her first time), Erica & I, Mark & Paul, Zach & Rob (I don't think that's his name damn it! lol). We were all having a great time, but the volume of our laughter, but everyone had to leave soon after.

Erica & Wendy are both Doctor Who fans, so they said we should all get together and watch Dr. Who, which made Mollie want to join in, so that's cool. For awhile, almost everyone was in my room, trying to teach Wendy how to play Euchre, and checking out my GLBT inclusive movie shelf. Wendy kept trying to find movies on the shelf that did NOT have any GLBT content, which amused me at first, but then got oddly crazy. Paul & Zach kept asking questions about the movies, and Paul said he was going to try to think of movies that I don't have on there. There are TONS that I don't have, but I haven't been buying them lately, as I'm kind of on the broke side.

I didn't remember Paul when he was here, and then later it just hit me; all the times I saw him at Mollie's work when I would go visit her. Apparently he worked there 4 years ago, but now he lives in New York. He was just here for a visit; apparently he's good friends with Jennifer. He said he was 30, and then changed that to 31, but Mollie later mentioned in passing that he was 33! lol And for the record...he's hot, but really nice too. Everyone was nice last night, which was fantastic. And it was great to see Mollie & Carrie, and Jennifer, and Phil, and then mix in these people that are close to Mollie, and have it all be fun. It was good.

I drove Mollie home after the party, with extra alcohol from the party, and a late birthday presents from Carrie, Mark & myself. We had a nice chat in the car, and after I dropped her off I went to Necto. I saw several people that I hadn't seen lately, which was nice, and I had some fun dancing, though the majority of the music sucked ass, and not in a fun way. When I got home I was exhausted, but hungry, so I did the stupid thing...and ate. I took a nap, but was careful not to sleep too long and upset my stomach. I got up and read; worked on my webpage a bit more, and answered some e-mail.

I called Kim around 8am, and asked if she could bring the movies she borrowed from me in August to work with her so I could finally have them back on my shelf. Then I finally slept. I got up around noon, showered, dressed, and drove up to the salon where I got a nice hug from Kim, my movies, and a wave from the busy Jeremy before heading home. I finished a Trek book I was reading (more on that in a minute) and started watching Star Trek Voyager.

So I've been reading these Trek stories that set up Voyager, and the thing is...they all contradict each other, which is ironic, as they set up a show that contradicted itself all the time. I just expected them to be more cohesive. There were lots of random errors in them, along with continuity screw ups relating to the show, or previously published fiction. I enjoyed the stories for what they were, but I wish someone would write a book that explained all the contradictions away.

I slept some more. I've gotten more sleep today than I expected, but it's always in short, concentrated bursts. My eyes are kind of tired; probably from staring at my computer too much. Maybe I should find something else to do.

Shortly after the last entry, I got a call from Jonathan Lanius, saying he was going to be in Ann Arbor shortly, as a friend of his was in UofM Hospital. He wanted to know if I'd be awake for a visit. I wasn't feeling well rested, though I had slept a bit. I had a horrible migrain. But I said sure, because I hadn't seen Jonathan since last New Years.

A few hours later, I had taken my pain killer, eaten, showered, dressed, and was watching "Boys Life 5". I bought it when it was new to DVD, and just never watched it until last night. Jonathan & Shawn arrived during the 2nd short film, "Fishbelly White", which was the basis for the film "The Mudge Boy" which I'd seen part of a few months ago. Shawn & Jonathan were obviously tired, but we visited for awhile, and I showed them my room, and caught up on a lot of the changes in our lives. They eventually slept downstairs while I finished my dvd, and went to bed.

I woke up a few hours later, half expected them to be gone, as they had said they needed to leave early, only those plans had changed. We continued the visit. Jonathan took a shower, and Mark took some pictures of us, and then they had to go...and I needed to get back to sleep, as I needed to be at work in a few hours.

I was late for work...but I sold 6 play guards, a bundle, and a gift card. All good, unexpected things. There were a few moments of really busy work, and then the rest of the night we were just trying to find things to do. I stocked popcorn & soda. I straightened games, ran returns, dusted. Matt was doing all kinds of stuff. Bill was working, but left at 10pm. We had everything done, and then some, so I was able to leave at exactly midnight.

I came straight home. I downloaded the new Torchwood, though I haven't watched it yet. I decided I was going to continue watching some movies from my GLBT inclusive shelf. I watched "Brother To Brother" which I enjoyed quite a lot. I love my movie collection; it's so much fun to watch these movies. I'd really like to watch the new episode of "Brothers & Sisters" as the last episode was kind of a cliffhanger, and the new one aired last night. I think I read somewhere that it would be going into reruns until January sometime, which sucks.

Anyways... I work today; I should get some sleep. Or try at least.

Still no sleep for Jason. :-0( Normally this would be fine, as I usally have Monday off after closing the store on Sunday, but I'm scheduled today. I really dislike that. I'm used to being up all night on Sunday and sleeping on Monday. Still, I tried...it just isn't working. This will most likely suck...a lot...later today. I do have tomorrow off though. The thing is, I feel ready to sleep...only it's not happening, and I'm not sure why.

I wish the Harry Potter Trailer was online right now, so I'd have a reason to be awake. lol

Oh. I read this morning that Peter Jackson won't be back for the Lord of the Rings prequels! Damn It. I think most people really want The Hobbit films to mesh with the LOTR movie trilogy; I know I do; otherwise they seem kind of pointless. Hopefully this will all work itself out, and the movies will be fantastic.

I could ramble forever.

Work on Monday was fine, though I was so completely exhausted, that DJ offered to let me go home, only I didn't have the car. In the end, Bryan gave me a ride home, around the time I was scheduled to leave anyways, though without the ride I would have been stuck there for another hour or so. After work I watched the new Harry Potter trailer and went to bed. I woke up around 1am Tuesday morning. I worked on my new photo galleries, which are still somewhat hidden on my webpage. I slept some more in the morning, and worked on the galleries for much of the day; they're really coming along nicely, though I know I want MORE pictures, to really make this update special. There will be more than twice the number of pages of pix, which is really quite enough, I'm sure. lol

I was tempted to call Jeremy. I haven't seen him in weeks, and we haven't had sex in over a month. But I was so busy, and getting so much done, that I just didn't get around to it. And in the back of my head I was thinking that he's probably busy too. But I'll try to hook up with him next week or something, if only to catch up, and give him a hug. ;-0)

When Mark got home, we both ate, and chilled for a bit. I watched some of Harry Potter. Then I slept for a few hours, and woke up around 3am. I wrote a new poem, and updated my poetry section on my webpage; adding the last 10 I've written. I also reworked one of my new galleries to my satisfaction. The first 3 galleries are finished...I think. lol I'm tired of looking at my computer, but I can't seem to break away. I'm going to have a snack, and maybe take a nap. Mark needs me to drive him to work today. I work from 1-5:30pm for the next 3 days.

Mark ended up driving me to work, which is good, as I got some much needed sleep. Work was extremely busy, and while I got to see a few really great customers (Jean & Janella for example), I had more than my share of truly rude people. The day went by quickly though, and was a bit calmer as my night was winding down, or at least I'd grown accustomed to it. Chris "Box" Taylor stopped in, and I got to meet his wife Theresa(?), who was stunning, really. It was nice.

After work, I went to Kroger with Mark to get some groceries (which of course was a mad house the day before Thanksgiving), then headed home. The Animated Series of Trek had finally arrived, so now I own all of Trek on DVD. My collection is complete for now...though in a few years I look forward to seeing the new movie, and buying the remasstered Classic episodes.

I actually fell asleep watching the first episode of TAS. I slept until around midnight. I read. I had a snack. Then I watched "Superman Returns". I liked it more than I expected, but my expectations were very low. I enjoy Superman to an extent, but even at his best, he's kind of stupid. I think the complaints I've heard about the film were valid, but taken as a Superman project, and not a LOGIC piece, I can forgive that.

After the movie I took a shower, read my e-mail, and after writing this I'll probably read a bit more, and go to sleep. I have to work today. DJ is picking me up for work, as Mark will be at his mom's in Toledo. I would really love to be able to sleep for 8 hours straight. This split shift crap is going to kill me.
