I've been sick since early Wednesday morning. I thought it was just acidy stuff at first, and it still might be, but I'm leaning more towards flu now. Sadly, in my life it's just hard to tell these things, as my stomach is almost always upset. But the last few months have been pretty good. I did eat something I wasn't supposed to on Sunday, but I doubt that has any real leverage on this. I had pepperoni pizza, and it was fantastic! Blah. Have you ever puked pepto? If you thought it was gross the first time around...then you were right, but it gets worse with every new course. Ick.

Other than that, everything is ok.

The power went out on Wednesday, when I was feeling ill, and trying to get ready for work, which prompted me to call in. I was already not feeling well, but the people I work with know I get like that sometimes, and if I'm going to be feeling crappy, I might as well be with people who can make me laugh about it. But when the power went out, and I didn't know where my clothes were, that pretty much killed the day for me. The DTE peeps said the power would be back on in 2 hours. It took something like 13. I made the most of it though. I read by the light of the...rain. lol There wasn't much light, but I managed to finish reading a book I was reading in the gloom. I later started another one.

I had yesterday off. I worked on my webpage, and was ill a lot. I updated some myspace stuff. I made the most of a gross situation I suppose. I kind of assumed I'd be over this by now, so I could get some sleep and start fresh at work today...but I'm not sure that's going to happen now. I'm not happy about this at all.

The season finale of Doctor Who is on Saturday, and that's all I'm looking forward to at the moment. That and my health returning, but I don't have a set time for that, so I'm placing all my bets on the Doctor.

Cal & I have been chatting more. There's been more sex, and a rescue operation (when Cal ran out of gas on his way home on Tuesday). Perhaps we will date after all. I thought this was merely a sex thing for him, and was more than willing to go along with that. But he's been missing me when I'm not around, and checking my webpage to see what I want in a guy. Hmm.

I've been watching the earlier seasons of the new Who. I'm planning on watching all the way through the end of the current season. Then maybe I'll switch to the old show, as I now have all the available dvd titles. I'm such a geek.

I'm so tired. But when I lay down the gross factor increases by a disturbing percentage. And despite the illness, I'm so hungry.
