Bald Jason's Musings
Sunday, April 10, 2011
I eventually did sleep, after catching up on SVU and finishing
off 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl', which got the ending just right
IMO. I slept much of Saturday, getting up around 4pm. I
worked on some Doctor Who stuff, which turned out
brilliantly. I shaved for the first time in 2 weeks. I showered. I
chatted. I had a nice conversation with Travis. I burned a
Doctor Who disc for a friend. I read more of 'A Lion Among
Men', finally. I made lists. I had a fun conversation with Mollie
& Soroya. I had a killer headache and took pain killer; it's
mostly gone now. It's supposed to be gorgeous out today, or so I've been told.
Mark & I were talking about going for a long walk today.
Also, my friend was gonna drop by and get his Doctor Who
disc. I so need to sleep though. I guess I should try to do that
instead of writing this. It's really, really warm in my room
though. And I'm feeling oddly tense.

I did get to sleep eventually. Mark went to visit his parents
while I slept. I woke up around 4pm and showered and
dressed. Mark got home and we went for a wonderful walk; it
was in the 80's here today. It was so great to be outside and
to get some exercise.I was thinking about Nick. Not in a crazy kind of way, but just
how much fun I had with him while he was here...and how
little I enjoyed doing things with Michael...because he always
found a way to blame me for some slight, or say I was flirting
with someone or freak out that some guy noticed me. Even
when it was good, it was often bad. Really very glad that's
over now. :)Mark & I might go to Kroger in a bit. I need to wash my
sheets & do the dishes. It's really warm in here.

The AC is on and it feels great. I'm chatting with Nick and he
just keeps getting more sexy by the minute. :)

Mark & I went to Kroger. I have grocery money. Either my
benefits went through, or this is my last month or
whatever...or they haven't gone through yet and this last
month will hold me over until they do. All I know is that I
have money for food for at least 1 more month, which I
appreciate. I'm gonna try to mix up my meals a bit more. I've
been drinking more smoothies lately; healthy stuff that I can't
eat because of my gastroparesis. Mark is watching me type
this and it's annoying. He says it's because he's waiting to get
the memory card back for his phone - I'm about to take
pictures off of it that he took earlier. We also went to Little Caesars, came home and watched an
episode of Glee. He only has 6 more episodes to watch and
then he's seen them all. There's a new episode on Tuesday.

We got the pictures off Mark's phone...somehow. Then I took
a very brief nap. Now just messing about online. I'm thirsty.

I ate after the last entry. Chatted online. Did laundry. Played
Zuma Blitz. Made Mark's breakfast and got him up for work.
Chatted some more. Now I'm just relaxing until I can fall
asleep. It should be easier with the air on.

I slept ok, after doing the dishes, sorthing the trash &
drying my sheets / comforter. I woke shortly before Mark
got home from work...with a migraine. I took some
Excedrin Migraine with a shake and waited for it to end. It
took a long time, but I was chatting with Nick through
most of it - which was very nice. I eventually took a
scalding hot shower and got dressed for Necto. I snapped
some pictures. I left around 12:50am. I stopped at Aut Bar
but didn't see many people I knew...and then headed to
Necto. I felt jittery and a bit out of it. But Necto cured that.
I had a fuzzy navel when I got there, and then I danced...a
lot. There was some cute boys dancing on each other; I'm
pretty sure they were straight - goth boys are so funny.
lol. Then I was standing at the bar and this guy (Justin?)
who was 30, bought me a yager bomb cause they're
cheeper when you buy 3 and he was getting one for his
gf...who's name escapes me, but she was fun, and 33 yo.
She was making out with this girl Meg that I used to see at
Aut Bar (she still works there on Thursdays I guess). It was
was all good. I got them to dance but then the bar shut
down and I got out of there (running into Michael E's old
friend Katie on my way out), feeling happy and
buzzed...and sweaty from all the exercise :) Good night.
lolI wish Nick was here.
Oh. And I have this song stuck in my head from the
bar...and I just did a google search for it, but it's not
coming up - there is href="http://www.google.com/search?
q=lyrics+%22I+have+the+pussy%22+song&rls=com.
microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&ie=UTF-
8&oe=UTF-
8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7SUNA">a question
coming up from someone
else asking about the song - which has been deleted -
probably because the lyrics to the song that the person
and I both remember is a girl saying "I have the pussy so I
make the rules" or something to that effect. I wish I knew
who sang it. I want it. :)

Talked on the phone with Bradlee for a good long while.
That was fun. Played Zuma Blitz.Ooh. Check out this into to the new season of Who by
Steven Moffat (from the new href="http://www.radiotimes.com/blogs/1255-doctor-
who-steven-moffat-new-series-preview/">RadioTimes
UK Magazine) :"Ah, it's that time of year again. If you close your eyes
and wish your hardest, you can just about hear them - the
Tardis engines grinding in the sky. The Doctor is coming
back. When last seen, he tumbled down a chimney on Christmas
Eve and saved a bad man's soul, but darker days now lie
ahead for the last of the Time Lords. The Silence, the
unseen enemy who blew up his Tardis last year, have laid
deeper plans and set the deadliest trap of all - one that
has been ticking away in the Doctor's life for longer than
anyone knows.Newlyweds Amy and Rory are caught up in a century-
spanning scheme, and somewhere out there, in a storm-
lashed prison, River Song is getting ready to tell the
Doctor something that will change his life for ever.By Lake Silencio, on the Plain of Sighs, a story will begin
and end. A good man is going to die, an impossible life
will begin, and our heroes will set out on the long road to
the deadliest secret in the universe - and when it stares
you in the face, you might just discover you've known
about it all along. This year Doctor Who happens twice. Seven episodes now,
a cliffhanger that changes everything, then six more
episodes after the summer. But that's not all that is
changing. Last year was a rollercoaster: Matt Smith's
amazing new Doctor came bursting out of the Tardis and
tried every ride in the funfair - except one. It's time to
step aboard the ghost train.Welcome to new monsters, new terrors and Doctor Who
season six. Hold tight!"

I made Mark breakfast and got him up for work. I was tired
and had another headache. Mark wanted me to pay his life
insurance but then he found he could do it over the phone. I
watched Chelsea Lately & Nurse Jackie. I chatted with Nick. I
slept. I woke up when Mark got home from work. There was
bad news from the state. They say that I failed to report that I
got $17.00 from my 2009 taxes - only I didn't file that year
because I didn't work in 2009 at all. And the account that it
says this money went to - doesn't match my account. So I
now have to find out where this info is coming from, because
it doesn't make any sense. Mark filed me as a dependent in
2009. I'm trying not to stress about it - it's obviously a
mistake, but it could cost me my benefits so it has to be
taken seriously...I took a xanax. Today is far less fun than
the weekend was. :( Oh well. Mark says there's an advocate
that might be able to help me...and I'll know more tomorrow
- supposedly my case worker is supposed to call me about
this, but I'd rather have it worked out ASAP and fax them all
the info explaining that this is a mistake.

The xanax knocked me out while I was watching 'Brothers &
Sisters'. I slept well, though I had odd dreams. I woke and
finished watching my backlog of episodes for that show and
now I'm all caught up. I made Mark breakfast and got him up.
I hope today goes well. I hope the government doesn't screw
me over an obvious error on their part. :( Trying not to worry
about it.Oh. And I thought there was a new Glee on last night...but
it's not on until next week. I was disappointed about that.
This is all very silly though.I wonder how Nick is doing?

Slept well yesterday. Got up around 6pm. Chatted with
Nick both before and after sleeping. Showered, dressed,
drove to Aut Bar to park the car and then walked to Mark's
lock picking meeting. Hung out about an hour, then
headed to RiteAid for drugs, Meijer to exchange a belt,
and then to Little Caesars for yummy food. I edited and
uploaded like 80 pictures to Facebook, which consumed
most of my night. I got Mark up for work and made him
breakfast.Yesterday Mark called the advocate for the Department of
Human Resources and they said that we'd have to talk to
the investigator. Mark left that person a voicemail and is
going to call again today but if we don't hear from the the
investigator or my case worker today then we're going to
start faxing the information out. Hopefully we can get this
cleared up and I can relax again. I think I've done a fairly
good job of not stressing about it though. Good on me.In 9 days Mark with be 40 years old. That's so odd. He was
23 or 24 when I first met him. Time flies. Also in 9 days, Doctor Who will return for a 7 week run of
new episodes. :) Very excited about that.I've done good with exercise this week. I walked on
Sunday. I danced Monday night. I walked a bit last night.
I've also been cutting down on my Silk intake, and I'm
back to drinking more water and fruit juice. I've been
mixing up my food choices too. I had fries the other night
that I bought last year. I've been alternating beverages.
I've had some chips, which I hardly ever have any more but
1 bag I really wanted and the other was free with a
coupon. Blah.I'm tired.

I watched 2 more episodes of Six Feet Under. I have 3
episodes left and that's it. The show took a turn I wasn't
expecting. I knew that something happened, but the thing
that I didn't know sort of makes me really hate one of the
main characters. Ugh. 3 more and the show will be over.
Well, it's been over for like 6 years...it's just that I'm finally
getting around to seeing it. lolStill sleepy, but couldn't get to sleep.

I went to sleep around 4pm. I slept until about 8pm. Mark
got home from an evening helping his friend Libby. I watched
another episode of Six Feet Under. 2 more left.

Just finished Six Feet Under. I can see why so many people
love the ending. I myself found it a bit cheesy, but still a very
appropriate ending to the series, and one of the better series
finales. So many series finales...just don't measure up to all
that has come before. This one did. It was a bit odd, because
the song used over the ending moments is a song that I only
discovered about a month ago when I found an amazing
mashup of it - so in my head I was hearing the harmony of
the other song as events played out. I cried a few times.

I slept a bit last night, got up around 5:30am. I helped
Mark get up for work. I read the news. I continued with
Doctor Who, watching:28x06 School Reunion [Part II]
28x07 Tardisode 4 [Part I]
28x08 The Girl in the Fireplace [Part II]
28x09 Tardisode 5 [Part I]
28x10 Rise of the Cybermen [Part II]
28x11 Tardisode 6 [Part III]
28x12 The Age of Steel [Part IV]I'm almost half way through Season 28.
I was having a bit of a stressful morning. I just felt terrible
and I couldn't communicate why so I took a xanax and
eventually went to bed. I slept extremely well, with great
dreams. A text from Mark woke me around 7pm, but I
went back to sleep and woke at 10pm. In my final dream I
was tracking something through the woods with my
cousin Joy, and she helped me find the trail across a river
and I had to warn her to be quiet as people on that side of
the river often shot people for being over there. I think we
were tracking some kind of alien. lolSo I'm awake now. Mark is asleep. Not sure what I'll get up
to now.

When the night did pass I felt myself becoming stronger of
spirit. I'm not certain why I was so down last night, but my
mood has much improved. I watched the final 3 episodes of
"Spartacus: Gods of the Arena". The 6 episode prequel, which
both begins and ends with the final events of Season 1
("Blood & Sand") serves as a worthy 2nd Season to what has
become a fantastic series. This 2nd story has answered many
mysteries of Season 1 and set the stage for what is really
Season 3 of the series...as I suspect characters introduced in
both seasons will be explored in coming seasons. I look
forward to future adventures, though I advise anyone reading
this to view "Blood and Sand" before "Gods of the Arena", for
though the 2nd stands mostly as prequel, the opening and
closing scenes do much to spoil the excellent finale of the
first season.
