I had to take pain killer on Saturday which made me slow to
get ready for DJ's graduation party. I burned The Clone Wars
for him, which he seemed excited about. So many people
from Hollywood were there, including DJ & his family, Mike &
Emily, Matt & his kids, Josh H, Pangy, Ben & M, Amanda, Bill &
his Amanda and Bryan. Sagar was there too. It was a lot of
fun and I stayed until around 2am. I stopped at Meijer on my
way home and used coupons and sales to my advantage. I
got home around 3am.

Sunday I woke with another migraine. It felt like an ice pick
was being jammed into my skull, the pain was so intense.
More pain killer. More sleep. I chatted with Nick who might
stop by on Thursday. I helped Mark out with a project. I'm
currently downloading more tv shows. I've been trying to call
Mollie the last few days but I haven't gotten through yet.

People keep telling me that my ex-bf Michael is returning to
live in Ypsi again in the near future. This worries me. I know I
might not run into him, but him living closer to me makes
me feel less comfortable. The UPS guy was here the other day
and rang the doorbell and I stayed in my room for fear that it
was Michael stopping by. He scares me and I don't want
anything to do with him.

I'm still awake. But that's about to change. I chatted with Nick
a few times today. I watched Graham Norton. I read the news.
I'm so frakking tired.

I slept from arount 7pm - 1:45am. I was up for a few
hours...I organized a bunch of stuff and then went back to
sleep. I woke up around 8:45am and got Mark up for work;
he usually gets up at 7:30am, but he said he didn't need a
ride and just sort of got ready really quickly. I took my
prilosec and watched more Doctor Who. I'm gonna eat soon,
and I plan on watching more Who later. I'll probably finish the
Season 28 of the Whoniverse this week. Season 32 continues
on Saturday with "The Impossible Astronaut"; really looking
forward to that.

This is the first day I've not had a headache since Friday I
think. I'm gonna take advantage of that and try to get some
cleaning done.

Elisabeth Sladen, who portrayed Doctor Who companion
Sarah Jane Smith, star of The Sarah Jane Adventures, lost
her battle with cancer yesterday. I didn't even know she
was ill. So very sad.

I got some cleaning done yesterday. I did some laundry
and sorted dishes and trash, and sorted clutter in my
room. I watched more Doctor Who. I watched 7
installments yesterday:

28x13 Attack of the Graske
28x14 Tardisode 07 [Part I]
28x15 The Idiot's Lantern [Part II]
28x16 Tardisode 08 [Part I]
28x17 Tardisode 09 [Part II]
28x18 The Impossible Planet [Part III]
28x19 The Satan Pit [Part IV]

I slept for about 7 hours later. When I woke Mark told me
he had some bad news and told me that Lis Sladen had
died. I read the news online after that and told people that
I thought might like to know. I'm very sad about this and
not just about one of my shows ending. I've never heard a
single negative story concerning Lis and I'm sad that her
life was cut short; she was only 63 years old...and really
seemed to be full of life. :(

As for The Sarah Jane Adventures, 3 more stories (6
episodes) have been filmed for the next season. They were
to film 6 more episodes in the near future for a 12
episode season that was to air this fall, with talk of a 5th &
6th Seasons. I can't imagine them not airing those final
stories, both as a tribute to her...and honestly, I expect
they'll get big ratings. But I'm left wondering if there will
be an episode of Who covering the death of Sarah Jane the
character? Will the remaining cast of The Sarah Jane
Adventures spin-off into another series? It's too early to
say. I keep thinking that maybe they'll have Jo Grant (Jo
Jones now) return and carry on for Sarah. I don't know. I'm
just sad. And grasping at straws.

Mark & I just watched the new episode of Glee (2x17 Night
of Neglect) which was another good episode, but sad for a
few reasons. I feel a bit stressed and might take a Xanax.
There's some stuff going on that I've not discussed
here...and I don't know that I'm ready to.

Still awake. Still doing laundry. Still can't believe that Lis
Sladen has died. The Sarah Jane Adventures have come to an
end, or soon will. I hope they air the remaining episodes;
supposedly the finale to the next season had already been
filmed (along with the first 4 episodes of the intended-to-be
12 episode season). I hope they give it a good send off, and I
wouldn't mind a big tribute episode of Doctor Who to Sarah
Jane & the Brig (who passed away just 2 months ago).

STILL awake. I finished my laundry. I talked to Nick on the
phone. I had some odd exchanges online. I watched some
more Doctor Who. I watched:

28x20 Tardisode 10 [Part I]
28x21 Love & Monsters [Part II]
28x22 Tardisode 11 [Part I]
28x23 Fear Her [Part II]
28x24 Tardisode 12 [Part I]
28x25 Army of Ghosts [Part II]
28x26 Tardisode 13 [Part III]

I just have 2 episodes left and the season is done. When I
first watched this season I didn't like it as much as Season
27...but later I remembered liking it more. I'm finding I'm
back to my original opinion, in that aside from a few bright
spots, the season just isn't as impressive as the previous one.

I just talked to Mollie on Skype. She's very ill. She sounded
terrible. I hope she feels better soon.

I'm gonna try to read and then get some sleep.

I read more of "A Lion Among Men" before sleeping. It's
getting much better, and I'm starting to see why pairing the
lion's story with that of Yackle makes some sense as they
mirror each other in a way. This, like 'Wicked', may be a book
that's enjoyed more the 2nd time around.

I slept well, from around 7pm-1am. I got up and debated
more on Facebook. There are 2 topics I've posted being
debated; one concerns the butchery of male genitals known
in polite circles as circumcision; the other is a law that gives
preferential treatment to hetero couples when adopting
children. Some of the things being said are quite shocking
and offensive to me.

I took a xanax and a prilosec. I hope to get some more sleep
before morning breaks. I also sorted more laundry (I'm not
quite finished after all). I sorted the recycle bins, dishes and
garbage. I'm burning Clone Wars for Nick who may or may
not be visiting tonight or Friday night.

I'll probably read a bit more and then sleep.

I read a bit then slept. I woke up around 7:30am and made
Mark's breakfast and got him up for work. We talked about
some online stuff. He left. I did the dishes, traded texts with
Nick, and got some more Glee music. I've been listening to
Adele's "Turning Tables" for the last 20 minutes.

I did more laundry and cleaned more after the last entry. I
read a bit. I watched some Doctor Who. Nick texted me to
tell me that he wouldn't be coming over on Thursday
because he wouldn't have the money for gas until Friday. I
texted back asking if he was coming Friday but he never
responded, which leaves me feeling a bit odd. I wonder
what's going on there and if I shouldn't distance myself
from the whole thing; take a few steps back. Better to be
alone? I don't know. We'll see.

I slept from around 4pm - 10pm. I got up, got dressed
and went to get groceries with Mark. I've been pleased
with my food choices lately. I have a few snacks, but
almost all the stuff I eat is healthy - much more healthy
than the majority of my life. I rarely drink soda, though I
do drink chocolate soy milk. I also drink lots of water,
BOOST & smoothies, which contain the veggies and fruits
that I can't eat - and they taste awesome.

I just read that Dorium Maldavar, the blue guy that got
River Song her Vortex Manipulator in "The Pandorica
Opens" will actually be back for TWO episodes this season.
I'd known that he was coming back for 6x07 'A Good Man
Goes to War', which is the mid-season finale, but he'll
apparently be back for the actual season finale as well
(6x13). Cool. One of the joys of RTD's era of Who was
exploring all the recurring characters and now we're
getting some more of that in the latest era.

I'm sleepy. But I'm also hungry. I'm not sure what I'm
doing next.

Later today I have to open a new bank account. Mark has
to go to Secretary of State and the eyeglass place so we'll
probably combine all of that. Tonight the neww Smallville
introduces Booster Gold & Blue Beetle! I want to see that
episode but I've let myself get behind on episodes so that
I can watch the last batch of episodes in a
marathon...maybe I'll catch up to this one and then wait
on the final 4 episodes - the series ends in just 3 weeks,
on May 13.

Saturday is Mark's 40th Birthday! :)

Saturday the new Doctor Who (6x01 The Impossible
Astronaut) and a special dedicated to Lis Sladen will air.
Looking forward to seeing it. Still bummed that Lis has
passed away...and wondering what will become of those
final Sarah Jane installments...and how they'll handle Lis's
passing. Will they have a memorial episode for the
character? I hope so.

My back kind of hurts.

I slept for maybe an hour then woke up with a terible pain in
my upper back. It sort of ached yesterday but this is much
worse. Then the pain spread to my head. It hurts very bad. I
took a hot shower because that helps sometimes and I didn't
want to take pain killer right away cause my stomach was
upset and I wasn't sure I could keep it down, plus it would
make me groggy all day, but I just needed it so bad and the
shower did help. Hopefully it stays down and it helps.

Before going to bed I had a snack, which included a new fruit
smoothie I'd never tried...that at least was good, and I always
feel good when I try something new. It sounds super healthy
so good on me for that. lol

After so many years of so much suffering I bounce back
pretty quickly in the smile department...but I sometimes
wonder if there will ever come a day when they don't return
so easily.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK!!!!!!!!!

Almost all of yesterday was defined by pain. My headache
just wouldn't go away, and my stomach was very unhappy. I
did manage to spend some time with Mark. And we did open
my new bank account. Mark helped me try to edit some
Clone Wars for my cousin and friends but it ended up not
working out - I was grateful for the effort anyways. Mark
went out with a girl for drinks last night. Eventually there was
sleep, which was my only relief. The pain in my back
continues...and the pain in my head is a lot better...but still
active. Hopefully it continues to improve. Today is Mark's
40th Birthday, and the first new episode of Doctor Who's 6th
Season airs today so I'd hate to miss out on anything.

So the more I hear about Series 6 of Doctor Who, the more
I think I'm right that Series 5 & 6 are one big story. In the
first episode of Series 5 we're introduced to a new story
arc:

"The universe is cracked. The Pandorica will open. Silence
will fall."

The story of why the universe was cracked and the
Pandorica were mostly answered in the Series 5 finale -
yet a lot was left unanswered and the Silence were not
revealed - in Series 6, they are.

Also, Series 5 saw the return of River Song and raised
many a mystery about who this woman really is...with
whisperings about things we wouldn't have expected in
her previous introductory episodes - yet by the end of
Series 5 there were no answers. We'll find out who River
Song is in Series 6.

Characters and images that were introduced in Series 5
are returning in Series 6. Things like the Amy, Rory, the
Lodger TARDIS, Winston Churchill, Craig Owens, Sophie &
Dorium Maldavar are all back in Series 6.

Alien races featured in Series 5 are returning in Series 6:
Cybermen, Sontarans & Silurians. Even the Ood were
featured in a cameo in Series 5.

I just get the feeling, more than any previous seasons, that
these 2 are telling one big story. Maybe I'm wrong. I won't
know until it's all played out. And the first new episode is
on tonight. :)
