BETTER DAY

The boy I've never really met,
He writes to me without regret,
For days his life's been hard as rock,
Too bad it's that, and not his cock...

For boy unknown deserves such joy,
I wish for smiles from that boy,
Inspired by my sleepy rambling,
I'm trying but I'm really gambling...

For I'm so tired I might fail,
I'm half asleep and mostly pale,
My bed is near and soon I'll lay,
While wishing him a better day.
