A DOORWAY

The boy in the doorway

was once just a guy,

Who was shy within Borders

and was bright beyond sky,

He looked and he smiled

and remembered me staring,

After years, after miles,

After tears/laughter/caring,

After movement & boyfriends

that slept where we lay...

The boy was adored

and he showed me the way.
