GHOSTS OF JEREMIAH

I'm sitting here thinking

while Jeremy boy sleeps...

I can see him from here,

so beautiful & sweet...

Exhausted he seems

as he snores in oblivion...

I sit here beside him

as I come undone.

The lies weren't expected;

his truth made me trust...

The light in his eyes

bade me give in to lust...

And I knew he was haunted

by boy who was scared...

That boy, Jeremiah,

he's sleeping in there.

But truth comes to light

that I hadn't expected...

Admitted to me

by new boy infected...

The one whom I fucked

in the shadow of death...

Who cuts as he smiles

and tells me he's Seth.

The new ghost

remembers and drinks to forget...

The new host

who knows no fear or regret...

So tempting for boy

who can't do what he can...

Jeremiah & Seth

in my Jeremy man.

For the boy sleeping next to me,

whoever that is.

I think I need some time

to absorb this.
