THE KIMBERLY WOMAN

She doesn't quite get it;

how strong she has met it...

how funny, how sweet, how connected.

The lady is strong;

though life can seem long...

wrong how we're not more protected.

She's more than a goddess,

with beauty so honest,

she has slayed more than one brutal tyrant.

But her pain and her doubt,

are what draws us all out,

to be with her there in her triumph.

She's desired by men,

Who never say when,

She's cursed with this sorry affliction.

She's like candy or coke,

She is fire & smoke,

and yet she's a healthy addiction.

She loves the transgendered,

the never surrendered,

she waits for the worthy to love her.

She doesn't seek marriage,

no justice miscarriage,

she just wants a muse for a lover.

But until she enfolds one,

A beautiful bold one,

I offer these words from a man...

She is loved & she's needed

by a man can't concede it,

And a bald one who certainly can.
