OUR FLESH & BONE PUZZLE

I don't want us to be only friends...

I've never wanted that with you.

I don't want something that condescends...

I want for only the truth.

I want this aching need to die

or maybe I want it to grow...

I don't want to ever say goodbye

if we can never again say hello.

I don't want our puzzle pieces to scatter;

I don't want to lose our prize...

I don't want to pretend that I'm only your friend

when I look into your eyes..

I don't want

to want to touch you

if I can't be inside of you...

I don't want to see your splendor

if I can't enjoy the view...

I don't ever want to hurt you,

I don't mean to cause you strife...

But I want us unchained

& unrestrained...

I want you in my life.
