RAINY SKYLIGHT SUNRISE

I awoke in the morning

in the beach house

from dreams

of sex on the beach

with the men

(it would seem)

taught the boy to be honest

the man to regret

the ex to be haunted

by my silhouette

lessons once learned

and forgiven forever

vengeance was sweet

but memories never

allow me to grow

or awaken like this

Shaken by sunlight

streaming through skylight

I was awakened by light's loving kiss

through strife's mechanisms

through rain water prisms

I'm free from my prison

And life is my bliss.
