THIRSTY

When you're not there
there's no one to need me...

When you don't dare
I've no one to feed me...

No one to straddle;
No one to say...
All of those words
that just take me away
from the world all around us
and the things they can't do...

Not quite the way
that my Michael can do.

And when you're around
I'm submissive with hunger...

And you take me down
although you're much younger...

And you feed my soul
as I swallow you whole...

For you drown the thirst
that's beyond my control.
