- SNOW AND WINE -
Tears laced with wine
Not even K can take me away
Waiting out time
And the feeling left me alone for hours
Twilight holds no meaning anymore
Cause you can't call
To break down the wall
I'd sacrifice it all...
Your voice echoes sweet in my head
Bouncing around in a labyrinth
Arms folded and eyes jaded
Never to be put back together
Cause the mystery's been faded
I'm yours if you want me...
Curled up in the chair by the window
It's picturesque in the Northern Michigan winter
Snow blankets my heart
And the cold keeps out thoughts
That could tear me apart
Ice storms that covered trees once full of green
Nothing is as fragile as it seems
Warm in the comfort of such heavenly dreams
Dreams of you holding me in winter...
Beds of briars that held roses in bloom
Not even the absence of blue
Can make it seem far away
Cause I'll see you again soon
And I'll welcome your embrace
Wipe the tears from my face
Give into the sweetness of you...
Time rolls by like forever
Just staring at the snow
Cause we should be together
I just wanted you to know
But I had to go...
