ANNA IN ORANGE

Ages ago & as if only yesterday -

I danced near him

& changed our interplay -

Words were written

forth & back -

Fiercely deny the way we attract

to our shared denial -

All for the sake of the boy dressed in orange

& his sickly sweet smile.

But the truth comes to light & the lies are complex -

The consequences are what befall us next.

That night he was kissing me hard at the door...

That night of massage & words dripped with more

than what I understood or what I could deplore -

That night of his darkness eclipsed in our light -

Returned within hours to the darkest of night.

& now we befall all that of course must come after...

But friendship is worth it - for the sake of our laughter...

But silence could kill us in the dark if not wary...

My Anna In Orange - Confusion & Contrary

To all that our night was & what it should have been...

We ONCE were lovers...

Could we YEARS remain friends?
