MOUTHS OF CHILDREN (BOR)

Part II: WHISPER TO A SCREAM

Restless Night begins to wake,

Causing Those within to quake,

They who fear They are alone,

Begin...Their destination unknown.

"Hello."

"Hi...I didn't think you'd still be here."

"Neither did I...but I was drawn to this place.

I was thinking...about you."

"I know."

He caresses a pale and weary cheek.

A mutual seduction begins...

(You could have heard a pin drop!)

"We...we have to talk."

"Sssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

No talk tonight."

Their eyes meet at last,

Never to part.

"Just relax...

Don't worry...

Don't speak...

And don't think...

Just let it happen."

They fall to Their knees as if in prayer,

As each returns The Other's stare,

Their beating hearts but a whisper blurred,

As both search out Their final words.

"I love you." He says as He finds His voice,

Tears falling forth in painful rejoice,

"I love you..." comes the reply as if in a dream,

And Their hearts ignite...From a Whisper To A Scream!
