BOY
Everything in my world slips bye on tears
that shine in my eyes
that slither out & hiss
& kiss my cheeks as they fall
to the burning earth.
As boy I haven't seen for days...
Boy I've lost within this haze...
Boy who's left me cold & crazed...
Boy who lives so far away.
He presses through the heat of space...
Against my chest...
Against my face...
He kisses me as tears roll down...
He presses smile to kiss my frown...
He lifts me up as I fall down...
& he resurrects me when I drown.
The image shimmers...
My vision clears...
Boy who loves me disappears...
Stranger boy - I wish I knew him...
Danger toys with me right through him -
But boy he makes me feel so safe...
Brings me to this special place...
Where he may wound me with his leaving...
He may bring my heart to grieving...
But I won't run though I may run free...
My heart is his -
To kill or love me.
