The first Charles De Lint novel I ever read was "Greenmantle", which I picked up because I thought the cover was hot; not usually into furries at all, but the stag just screamed sexuality; at least to me.  I remember reading it in middle school and one of my classmates, Kyle (who I lusted after) commented that he thought the cover was cool.  Lucky for me, the book turned out to be at least as good as it's cover.  From there I read "Jack The Giant Killer" and "Drink Down The Moon" which were not a available in a single volume, as they are now.  I continued reading as many of his books as I could find, and for several years I thought I was the only one who read his books at all.  But apparently he's very popular, and I'm just the only guy I know who likes his books, which is lucky for him.
