CROSSED
Today Was The Funeral Of
Dear Old Woman Who Sang
Stories Of England Towns
And Childhood Wonderlands...
Today Was The Aftermath
Of Long Aching Weekdays
Of Telephone Conversations,
Internet Trafic, Scenes
From A Hospital Bullshit Session,
And Dances With Beautiful
Homosexuals...
Today Was The Day That
I Wrote Of All Of This
While Room Mate Watches
Scenes Of Carnage, War,
And Mayhem -
All Strewn Together Like A Last Minute Poem.
Today Was The Day That A Line Had Been Crossed...
Today Was The Day That All I've Had And Lost...
Today And Tomorrow...
The Lust And The Sorrow...
Were All Strewn Together At A Heart Breaking Cost...
As Tear Drops Were Shed
In The Heart That Is Home.
