KRAZY GAZE
Looking up from doorway
on city street I dream away
to snug warm southern breeze
across naked flesh in the rain
that drips down off of weeping
willows.
My eyes ache & close against
the cold blue chill of Michigan winters
filled with snow men, clouded stares,
& ice princesses skating by with their
frigid wakes thrashing against me &
cutting so deep that my blood gushes
hot down onto the pavement.
My eyes;
they stay closed...
My guise;
no one knows...
The wisdom that's flowing...
In the cold wind that's blowing...
That kisses my pain as it chills my toes -
That wisdom it fills me...
That cold wind sets me free...
That death wind it steals me away from my woes.
