PHANTOM
Passive encounters yours and mine,
Annual feelings so hard to define,
Unusual compassion is hard to explain,
Love dies in winter and quickens the rain.
Handsome endeavor germinates time,
Animals aware of wakings and rhymes,
Reveal their natures in naked rejoice,
Tender submission no longer a choice.
Mystery leaves the door open wide,
Asking a question is not undenied,
Never by law in His blood decreed,
Nothing but fate must intercede.
In depth the circle intertwines,
Love manifest our hearts and our minds,
Onward and upward a silence walks through,
Vestures of night are cast black and true.
Every creature watches the knight,
Dressed for death in black and in white,
Yes this is the end of his plight, But
Of course there are always dreams to come,
Unlike the noble and valiant Phantom.
