THE TEDDY BEAR PLAGUE

My Sweet Teddy Bear,

Is Now Splayed And Laid Bare,

Removed Of His Unfeeling Threads,

And His Most Private Part,

Is My Most Favorite Art,

Well Reviewed By The Hardest Of Heads.

His Eternal Appeal,

Which Made Boys And Girls Squeal,

When I Knew Not His Existence,

Is His Soft Gentle Silence,

In A Void Filled With Violence,

His Peace Defeats Your Resistance.

And It Is There In His Eyes,

Both Naked And Wise,

That His Suffering Soul Finds Expression,

Lonely Soldier Boy Stare,

From The Silent Teddy Bear,

Love In The Eyes Of Depression.

But Soft Like A Light,

In The Dark Of The Night,

His Protection Is Yours As You Sleep,

In Triumphant Reflection,

He Achieves True Perfection,

And I Swear That This Bear Will I Keep.

This Childhood Toy,

Both Of Girls And Of Boys,

Belongs Now To Me And No Other,

And Of Our Lives Sad Or Gay,

And The Games We Will Play,

We Will Love One Another...

And That's All I Can Say.
