THETHUTHINNANG

Raindrops fall from a movement of leaves

as men frolic naked in the city of rabbits.

The stag & the huntsman,

The moon & noon day sun,

The smile of laughter

& the tears that came after;

the fall of their world

& the birth of this dread joy.

The stag is a man now

as he always was somehow,

who lives for the huntsman

who is now just a boy.

The men are green & cold & gleaming...

The rabbits in their forest, dreaming...

The men became rabbits

Forgetting their habbits

In the womb of their war...

What their love is redeeming.

This dream lived without fears,

Ends as men cover their ears,

As the rabbits of men wake in tears

& start screaming.
