A mostly miserable day. All kinds of things have gone wrong today. Little things. Big things. Things I didn't see coming. Blah.

My sole comfort today has been Harry Potter. Which is odd as I'm now reading the darkest book in the series. I just read about 150 pages without realizing it. I'm in the section of the book that I remember being slow before, and it is, but I think some of that was that I was reading the book so quickly before, while this time I'm taking a lot more time. The sheer darkness of the storyline impresses me. It seems hopeless. The others in the series dabbled in this kind of terror (most effectively in volume 5), but this is make it or break it time, and every storyline is reaching a fever pitch, down to the wire kind of excitement. And then you have this slow patch that is almost unbearable. Erg. I remembered that I loved Kreacher in the last book, but I couldn't remember why. I remembered the books was like reading about the Nazis, but I couldn't remember why. I remember the book in those kind of terms.

The weather outside is (you guessed it) frightful. But I still might attempt to go to Necto tonight. I haven't been there in about a month, and haven't gotten any exercise. And my eating lately has been pretty sugar heavy. Which I've been ok with. Chocolate has been my constant friend since August. I'm trying to lighten that though. Drinking more water, and trying to eat different foods. The roads are, I guess, pretty terrible though, so maybe I should hold off and try to go (ick) Friday? I don't know.

I watched the new Sarah Jane episode; just 1 more to go this season. If the rumors I've heard are true, or even if they aren't, then Seasons 2 & 3 might be combined in one season of the Whoniverse. Say for instance, that the 10th Doctor were to guest star in an episode next season - that would cement the 2 seasons together. And I'm rambling about stuf nobody cares about but me...and even I won't care if I reread this later. lol Suffice it to say that I already have a guess on how it all plays out, based on rumor, theory, guess work, wacky notions, and a few strands of useless information.

Mark is on his way home and is picking up pizza. Yum.
