Um. This won't come as a surprise to anyone who actually reads my blog... but I want my goddamn final Battlestar Galactica episodes NOW! I want my answers now. Who lives? Who dies? What was the cylon plan? How did Kara Thrace return? Who is the final cylon? What happened to Earth? How will the series end, now that the thing they've been moving towards all along has been reached 10 episodes shy of the finale? If cylons can't procreate without humans, how is Caprica Six pregnant with a cylon's child? What will the 'Caprica' series bring to the mythology? Can 'The Plan' movie really tie into everything without fracking up the continuity? 'Razor' did so by the skin of it's teeth. What did Gaius whisper in Gaeta's ear that made him stab Gaius in the neck? I want answers. The promos claim that we'll get answers to at least some of these questions. But even while I'm reveling in the unfolding of the series, I'm also being driven mad from not knowing. Ugh. lol

I do love when a show holds my attention this way though. If Mollie still lived here, perhaps we'd be rewatching the series together, commenting on it all. Something like the way we watched 'Firefly' together. Hmmm. I can dream.

In other BSG related news, Time Out New York rated BSG Season 4.0 as the BEST of TV & DVD in 2008. They mention several spoilers from the season before locking it down to the one that has haunted me ever since:

"But it was Lt. Gaeta’s delirious singing—a song about lost love sung to a lost leg on a show about humanity’s lost identity—that perfectly captured what BSG has evolved into: a haunting, exquisite lamentation."

Yeah. I fraking love this show.

The Los Angeles Times also lists the final moments of last season in their best moments of 2008.

Also, actor Mark Sheppard, who plays BSG's cool lawyer Romo Lampkin (and Firefly's Badger), has revealed in an interview that he will be back at some point during the final 10 episodes of the series; actually he says he'll be back for the end of Season 4.5 - Awesome. :0)
