I got a lot of work done on my webpage yesterday. The new galleries are coming along nicely, but I'm holding off on switching them over until they are complete. There are tons of new pictures, and many of the older pictures are cropped, or at least contrasted by different pictures on new pages. I realize I haven't been getting any art or writing done in the last few weeks, but I just haven't had the time.

I didn't go to the $20 Film Fest with Joy, but she called me from the auction, and talked to me about a "My Own Private Idaho" poster signed by Gus Van Sant(!); the bidding for that was up to $70.00 at the time. She let me go so she could see the movie, and then we met up at Pizza House later, where we chatted for a little over an hour I think. It was a really great conversation.

When we were done (my treat), I walked her to her truck, and then headed back to my car. I stopped at Aut Bar on my way home, and hugged some friends, watched some pool, and danced a bit. I said hello to peeps I haven't seen in a long while, and then I headed home. I worked on my webpage a bit more, then collapsed on my bed. I couldn't sleep. Mark's coughing was keeping me up, which for once, was probably a good thing. I remembered I needed to wash my work clothes, so I started those, and then shaved and showered, to keep me awake to put the clothes in the dryer, and also so I won't have to do that before work in a few hours; which will let me sleep longer (I hope).

I still need to get my cash out of the bank, and get groceries. Mark has a condo meeting after work though, which sucks for all kinds of reasons. blah. I guess Mollie is coming to the condo Friday night to play Poker with people from her work. Too bad Mark is so sick... I hope he starts feeling better soon; I can tell that he's miserable. I mean, I guess it's not subtle.

The new poster art for Harry Potter 5 has been released, and the first trailer for it will premiere in theaters on Friday; hopefully it will be online sometime this weekend. I want to see it. I've been tempted to watch the movies again. I don't want to re-read the 5th book before the movie comes out, as I'd rather just take the movie on it's own merrits. I would like to reread the 6th book though, but I keep thinking that I should wait until just before the 7th/final book arrives. Then I could watch the first 5 movies; read the 6th book, and dive into 7th. I'm so weird.

I'm kind of looking forward to Spider-Man 3, which is weird, as I didn't love the first 2. I think I'm the only person who didn't. I did enjoy the first one a bit more on DVD. I haven't seen the 2nd one since the theater. I keep thinking I should rewatch them both, and perhaps I will soon. The 3rd one looks cool. It's too bad all the Marvel properties seem to be made by different studios, because it would be cool to see a crossover between Spidey, X-Men, FF, or some other Marvel hero.

I think I can finally put my clothes in the dryer and get some sleep!

Ok. I left to put my clothes in the dryer, only the dryer is fill with Mark's wet clothes. He says he's going to turn on the dryer when he get's up, take his dry clothes out when he leaves for work, and put my clothes in the dryer. Which means that 1 - I didn't have to stay awake this whole time. and 2 - he'll be putting his hands all over my clothes that I just washed; the hands that relentlessly coughs on. This sucks.
