I finished reading "Vendetta" this morning, and started reading "The Best & The Brightest". I read this book about 9 years ago, when it was new; I figured enough time has passed that I can read it again. It's a Trek book based mostly on new characters created by the author, Susan Wright. It's also the first Trek book with openly gay characters. After I'm done with this one, I'll be reading "Trianle: Imzadi II" by Peter David, and then "The 34th Rule" by Armin Shimmerman & David R. George III. The started the former one once, but never finished it, while the latter is a book that I've always wanted to read but just never found the time. Hopefully everything will run smoothly and I'll be able to at least finish these books before the final Harry Potter book next month. If I finish them in time, I'd like to reread "Section 31: Rogue" as well.

I still haven't seen or heard anything meaningful from Corey. I did get a nice voicemail from Lucas, who said he'd be with me if he could. So I invited him, and of course he didn't show up. I'd be pissed, except him saying he'd be here has kind of turned into an inside joke around here, and I made no plans for us, since I all but knew that he wouldn't show. lol It kind of made me smile, even as he lied to me.

I ordered some Star Trek books that I want to read soon, and the very first 3 serials of Doctor Who, ever; the latter being on sale for half the cost. Those should be here by no later than Friday.

I have to work today. 1-5:30pm.

I found Gene Warrick online the other day. I haven't contacted him, and I haven't decided if I want to or not. Mark thinks it's a terrible idea. I've always suspected that I'd run into him somewhere, and we'd have a meaningful moment of some kind. I like having moments like that with peple; especially people I've dated. He looks the same, only older...and somehow, less attractive.

I need to get ready for work.

Oh! Mollie will be coming to town in mid August, so I'm putting off my birthday party by several days, and throwing a Molie's home / Jason Birthday Bash! ;-0)
