Since Saturday my Doctor Who obsession has only grown. lol. I now have (or will soon have) all available Doctor Who serials on DVD. I'm like that. I find something I like and consume it whole; take that however you like; you're interpretation is probably valid. lol Anyways, it's all I talk about lately, but it might have paid off a bit; Chris requested the first disc to watch, and I hope she likes it. I gave Bryan the first 3 discs to give her. The show seems really silly at first, and then when it's all said and done, and you go back and watch it again, you can see how they set everything up from the get go. For example, the 2nd episode of the new series introduces The Face of Boe, Cassandra & her Spider, with references to the Time War, The Silver Devastation, and the first mention of BAD WOLF. All HUGE continuity moments that don't seem AS important the first time around. Yum. So yeah...dying to see the final 2 episodes of the season, and I can't shutup about them.

In other Whoniverse news... The Sarah Jane Adventures is rumored to start airing in September. And James Marsters (Spike to Buffy/Angel fans, Brainiac to Smallville fans) is rumored to be appearing in a 2nd season Torchwood episode!!! Let's hope he's very naked, and hanging all over Captain Jack. Actually, I don't care which cast member he's hanging on, as long as he's naked, as the Brits get to see the best bits! It's also rumored that there will eventually be a Gwen/Jack pairing, which I would love!

Mark finished Harry Potter 5 Tuesday night & finally watched the trailer for the 5th Movie. I bought him a paperback copy of Harry Potter 6, which he started reading last night. Looks like he'll probably dive into book 7 just after I finish it! For once I won't have to wait years to talk to him about a Harry Potter book. Nice.

I went to Necto, Monday night and had a blast! The music was fantastic. The dancing was way fun, and very good exercise too. I hung out with Christine. I saw Bobby. I saw Johnny (from Saline) and met his mates Kevin (K-Jar?) and Brett, who works at Necto. I met a large and random assorment of people actually, which was great. I saw Rachel & Jinx separately; both giving me hugs, while the latter gave me another song to track down. I've been dancing to a lot of goth songs over the years that I don't know the names or artists for, so I've started concentrating on tracking them down, at least 1 per visit to the bar. lol It's fun.

After the bar, this guy was telling me how he wasn't straight or gay or anything. How he's going to end up with a woman, but that when he gets to drinking with a guy he's "all about the member". lol I didn't understand why I was listening to him, until I realized he was actually cute when he wasn't talking (lol), and that I was horny beyond the telling of it. Now...I don't usually pursue people for sex. I just don't. Not since grade school anyways. I date people, and then we screw...usually very quickly, but I only have sex with people I intend to date. I hear about (and have experienced) the way other guys seem to be, and this is the first that I've ever noticed this behavior in myself. It actually made me laugh a lot, and I called Mollie to express my wackyness to her. lol

Tuesday night I had something resembling a date, which translates as sex with a lot of fun conversation, cuddling, and a bit of sleep. It was all good, and I got some pictures, which will hopefully turn out. lol His name, if you must know, is Cal; he's 21, lives in Dearborn, and I'll most likely be seeing him again sometime soon.

I need to get more laundry done. I would love some more pictures. Hopefully the last 2 rolls of film my camera will ever see before I retire it for a new one I have my eye on. They don't make black & white film for my camera anymore. They make it for Mark's, which works out as he's willing to take pictures of me. The digital cameras have come a long way since I looked into them before, and with the quality being better, and me not having to pay to develope my film (though I love the look of black & white FILM) the new camera sounds like a really great idea about now.

I also need to get my butt in gear and get some work done at bitserve. Mark's been falling behind with the business again, I think, and frankly, I need the cash. We'll see how that goes. Blah.

I have today off. I have Saturday, Monday-Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday off. I think I might see Box & T's band play on Saturday; it's something I'm considering at the very least. ;-0)
