I'm 33 years old today. If that's supposed to mean anything, it's lost on me, as I've been thinking of myself as 33 for months now. lol I had the Mollie / Adam / Jason party last night. The guests included Bryan, Chris, Robert, Perris, Mike, Pat, Cara, Mollie, Karen, Carrie, Adam, Sean, Steve, Jeremy, Christine, Mark & I. It was a lot of fun. It was also very laid back; very low key; very surreal. I've been going to bed very early, and had intended to take a nap before the party but never had the time - so I was extremely tired through most of the events, but it was worth it to see so many friends in one spot, and just hear them having so much fun. I hope everyone had a good time, and that my less than stellar energy level didn't spoil anything, but I'm pretty sure it was ok.

I'm very grateful to all those who attended my party / gathering / thing, or who wanted to, or who stayed away because they annoy me. lol So...to all of you: THANK YOU.

A group of us is going to see Harry Potter 5 today. Many of us have already seen it, but that's cool. My Sirius Black / Bellatrix Lestrange poster was a hit at the party. And I had a batch of Harry Potter candy that I never got around to giving Mollie, so there was much fun watching her torment the other party goers with the disturbing concoctions.

In other good news. I was supposed to appear in court this week, for a supposed violation (running a stop sign), but my lawyer guy is appearing for me, which cheers me up endlessly. He also says that he deals with these tickets all the time, and that almost always he gets them changed to parking tickets, which means a fine, but that our insurance won't go up, which would be great. I find that stuff out on Wednesday morning.

I'm thinking about doing some volunteer work at HARC (the HIV/AIDS Resource Center. It could be very cool. Plus I love the people that work there, and they seem to like me, which for me, is always important if I'm going to work somewhere. Plus it would be good for me to do something of that nature that really helps people beyond getting a webpage online, or picking some great movies for them. lol It's not a definite thing, but it's something that's in the back of my mind.

I've got a horrible headache today. The really crappy thing about having TMJ, is that if I laugh too much or I talk too much, smile too much, give head too much or just have too much fun at all I get a migraine. Sadly, my migrain meds have been discontinued, and I've yet to get in to see my doctor to get a new perscription, which annoys me, and also has be a bit worried about what this new medication will be. I'd been taking the previous medication (which worked, and I was comfortable with) for 17 years. I'm making an appointment tomorrow morning to have that taken care of.

I saw a new doctor for my acid reflux / IBS problems, and he was really fun. Only a year older than me, recently divorced, doesn't own a dvd player, and he's the guy who performed my endoscopy last year. None of that means much really, that's just stuff I know. (lol Very random, but cut me some slack, as I'm trying to use Motrin to kill the pain that only controlled substances have had any luck with in the past.) He, and another guy, who I know from his frequent visits to Hollywood Video, set up some more tests to rule out some other stuff, and to give them more information. I'm all about doing this stuff, if it will help me. They also recommended some things, which I'm trying out. My last doctor was just a nightmare, and these guys seem to be working out a lot better already, and they're actually within walking distance of our condo, so that rocks. I have upcoming appointments on September 6, September 14, and September 27. The first two appointments will be for tests, lasting 4 hours each (doesn't sound like fun, but any information gathered will be good). The final appointment is my followup appointment to see where we stand, and how we're doing. Just knowing that we're doing these things makes me feel a lot better, and clears up some of the bad feelings I'd had about all this lately.

I have more I could write about, but I want to get away from the monitor before it burns a hole in my brain.
