In May 2006, I hit on a cute cashier at Meijer named Frank. We flirted, and I wrote about him, as I'm prone to do when a guy gets me hard. I had him over to the condo for a visit, and things were moving along nicely, until the guy asked me if I knew a boy named Bobby. I said yes, and asked how he knew that. He told me that he had dated Bobby and that Bobby had told him that he had met a cute goth boy at Necto who had all the Star Wars books; now that he was in my room it all came together, and he figured it out. I told him that the only guy that I knew of that Bobby had dated was named Lee, and Frank explained that Lee is his middle name and is what he is known by. I only knew him as Frank because that's what was on his nametag at work! This was too weird. I'd had a huge crush on Bobby since meeting him a little over a year ago, but before we could even hang out he had started dating Lee. I had heard all kinds of personal details about Frank from Bobby, not knowing that I'd ever be hot for the guy, or that he'd be with me in my bedroom. I thought that Frank was someone new, but he was in fact someone entangled in all my bullshit, without me even knowing it. I was still really attracted to Frank, but now I felt like I shouldn't be out with him; it was very surreal. We called it a night eventually, and I never asked him out again. I see him now & then, and I've danced with him at Necto but we're just friends, and I'd like to keep it that way.
