This is my father Doug; I didn't realize how much I love him, till I was on the living room floor, bleeding, with paramedics working on me -

They asked Doug: "Are you the father?"

& Doug said: "Step-Father."

& I said: "No...   You're My Father."

Doug held my hand then & it was just so cool!

Doug stayed with me at the hospital & my Mother (probably for the best) stayed away...  Anyways - my point is that Doug is my Father, more so than my biological father & I didn't realize it till he'd been around for years & years - I'm just glad that we got to have that wonderful moment before it was too late.

Doug...  Dad...  I love you!
