THE PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF LOVE AND LIGHT
The Princess of Light, ruled with might,
Over her subjects, burning bright.
Eyes like the ocean, blue as heaven,
Watch for the jewels for she wears seven.
Lips like roses, heart of fire,
She is your answer to every desire.
A curse once laid upon her head,
By Merlin or Mandrake some have said,
Drives her to lead young men astray;
To their death beds down to lay.
The horrid man that put her in this evil spell of pain,
Gave not a thought of the innocent blood or the people he had slain.
He never thought that someone who had heard of him above,
Would soon be breaking his wicked spell with the simple gift of love.
When GOD looked from His throne on high and saw the flood of pain,
He promised He would stop the wizard and his bloody reign.
He sent for a man who was pure of heart and said his prayers by night,
And changed him to a handsome Prince full of Love's pure light.
Then GOD put him on a raft of leaves and left him at the helm,
And then He sent a gentle breeze that sent him to Merlin's realm.
Now Merlin sensed the man's approach and knew the power he wrought.
He also knew that he had to be stopped, for the Princess of Light he sought.
Merlin sent a sea serpent, straight from it's mother's womb;
But the Prince swiftly struck it down, straight to it's watery tomb.

When the Prince arrived at the gate he sought,
The strength of Love to the guards he taught;
And before he had entered the gate on high,
He had also taught them how to die.
He searched intensely behind every door
And he found the Princess on the ballroom floor.
She danced with a man in the stately room
Who could not see his impending doom.
He walked toward the dancers without hesitation
And saw in her heart she was seeking salvation.
As he approached he watched them intently
And when he was near, tapped the man's shoulder gently.
"I'm Sorry, Monsieur. This may be my last chance.
Excuse me, Madame, may I have the next dance?"
As Merlin watched from the Crystal Cave
He knew now his spell could not be saved.
He knew that the Prince was sent from above;
He could not stop the power of Love.
The dance that was asked for never occurred.
For as their eyes met the Princess then heard
These three words that were there first spoken:
"I Love You." And the spell was broken.

Merlin watched in disgust as God's gift broke his spell
And his screams faded out as he was sentenced to Hell.
As the Prince took the Princess in Love's pure embrace
He dried the tears running down her face.
And they became one as he kissed her with all of his might:
The Prince and Princess of Love and Light.
